Showcased in collaboration with Sammy Seddaoui, this collection features 5 black troubled youths who are subjected to police violence.
It raises the question of the lack of diversity within the fashion industry.
It creates a relationship between the jazz aesthetic of the 1930's and the Black Lives Matter movement, time periods that celebrate blackness and diversity.
This project is the opportunity for Zackary Mahomo, Sammy Seddaoui and myself to make our artistic identity inseparable from our political consciousness.
