The photographs in Mosaic are originally 180° black and white panoramas, directly inspired by the work of Boris Mikhailov in Ukraine.
In order to break the conventional aspect of landscape, I simply cut them into squares (78) to make photographic fragments that together form a mosaic.
Sometimes three pictures appear in the same shot, the panoramic offered me a completely different field of observation and analysis of the Ukrainian winter.
