The series was made in 2020-2021 in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Konotop and Western Ukraine.
It raises the following question: Should we cultivate our past or distance ourselves from it?
In Ukraine, the past carries a palpable sadness and trauma.
The despair of the ruins invites creativity and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
